Who you're booking with
Jinja is the one town in Uganda where the adventure is in the water. We are two minutes from it, and we have been sending people down it long enough to know which day is the right day.
Maji is small, women-owned and based on Iganga Road. That means no call centre and no shelf packages: you tell us how many days you have, who is coming and what you want out of it, and you get a plan built around that — from a single afternoon on a tube to a two-week run that takes in Sipi, the parks and the gorillas. We meet you at the airport if you need it, and we are reachable at any hour, because rivers and flights do not keep office time.
Women-owned
Maji identifies as a women-owned business on its Google listing.
Open 24 hours

What we run
Water, rope, road and wildlife.
Everything below starts in Jinja. The short ones fit an afternoon; strung together they make a proper Uganda circuit. Prices depend on group size and season, so every trip is quoted rather than listed.

How booking works
Three messages, not three forms.

- 1
Send one message
Your dates, how many of you there are, and what you'd most like to do. WhatsApp is fastest.
- 2
Get a plan and a price
A route that fits your days, with the costs written out plainly — activities, transport, guides and nights all named separately.
- 3
We pick you up
From Entebbe, from Kampala or from your hotel in Jinja. The trip starts when we collect you, not when you find us.
Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are dated and capped, and the popular rafting days fill on weekends. If your trip includes either, message early — everything else can be arranged at short notice.

Described an unforgettable day on the Nile — rafting, swimming, cliff jumps and boat rides — and rated the whole experience with the company highly.
Said they thoroughly enjoyed exploring Jinja and the wider country with the team, and recommended them to anyone visiting Uganda.
